Beginning in Silence

Let us begin in silence. It is really the crux of the teaching and lineage I come from: pure silent awareness which is already present.

We can take these few moments just to allow our minds to empty whatever concerns or memories or projections of the future may be occurring.

Just let everything come to rest.

Recognize we are here. With whatever obstacles were put in our way, we are here. However easy or difficult it was, we are here now.

And we can receive what is here.

To receive there is nothing to do.

There is a time for giving, and there is a time for taking.

This moment is a time simply to receive.
